A young professional should own a suit, so last week I went suit shopping and got one.

There are other things that YPs should note. In no particular order these include insurance, super co-contributions, and a car. A nice apartment by a beach and the prospect of a new washing machine. Conversations about sources or media reps or real estate. Explaining younger people to older people. Accepting Your Responsibilities.

Much of this I have been told about in the past few weeks as I look forward to my new job in a new city. I knew about the suit, but on other counts was a wee bit off. At least it makes for good writing material, which I will now be paid to do, full time.
